My Health Coaching Philosophy
Almost five years ago, I lost about 40 pounds. AND I’ve managed to keep it off for all that time. So unlike some personal trainers or nutritionists who have never had to struggle or work, I know exactly how you feel. Because at one point in my life, I was there too.
I believe health isn’t just a number on the scale. I like to think about health not just in terms of how much you weigh, how far you can run, or even how much you can lift. I take into consideration if you’re waking up well rested, what your energy levels are like, what your emotional state might be saying about your health and your overall wellbeing. Sometimes, qualitative goals (i.e. goals that can’t be measured specifically with traditional metrics) are just as important as quantitative goals. My superb behavior coaching training and techniques can help fill in that gap between diet and exercise that so many healthcare professionals tend to miss.
