Gluten Free, DairyFree, and Egg-Free Double Chocolate Muffins
These muffins are fantastic in that they’re gluten, dairy, and egg free! If you’d like to make them nut free as well, just substitute the almond flour with another alternative (I like and combination of brown and white rice flour).

  1. Mix together applesauce, bananas, and oil. Set aside.
  2. Mix together almond flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, cacao powder, and ground flax seed.
  3. Mix wet ingredients until just combined. Over mixing will create a tough muffin. Add chocolate chips until just combined.
  4. Spoon mixture into a muffin tin that has been greased with non-stick spray of your choosing (I prefer coconut oil). Add additional chocolate chips on top of each muffin if desired.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Remove and allow to cool for 20 minutes before serving.
